An ancient epigraph is placed on the facade of the farmhouse dating back to around 1500. Recent studies give hypotheses on its meaning; a simple invocation of luck, or a protection from Christ (hi) for the Forinna family who probably inhabited the farmhouse in ancient times, or even a protection from Christ against an ancient (pagan) Goddess the Porrina, who centuries ago he lived in the caves of Roccaporena near Cascia, which practiced oracles and cured with herbs. These hypotheses make us think of the great culture of these places, full of millenary history, some of which still remains to be discovered and studied.
